Hey pals, the giving season is soon upon us and I wanted to let you know where you can find M.Hubert gifties for your friends and loved ones. I will be participating in the major Vanvouver “must attend” Toque sale this year at The Western Front, 303 E 8th Nov.30, 6-10pm and Dec.1 & 2, 11-5. I will also be at my lovely friend Julia Chirka’s annual holiday sale at 1654 Franklin street, Dec.15. Be there or be square! Along with these two mega dope sales you can always find my work at some of Vancouvers most fabulous shops—Neighborhood Quality Goods, Collage Collage, Harlow Atelier, and Good Omen. Happy Holidays!!
If you're looking to find something of mine out there in the ether, look no further! Starting last fall I've joined with two stockists here in the Vancouver area. Neighborhood Quality Goods on Main st. And Good Omen in New Westminster. They will be pushing my mugs, bowls, plates, small faceted dishes, and planters. You can still place orders through me for anything you'd like, or come to visit me at the studio and see what I've got in stock on my shelves.
Below is a umbrella stand I've been working on for Tacofino Gastown.
And here is the start of a new plan I have to make fermentation crocks! This is the kind with the water moat and it's on the small side, perfect for those of you who don't have a lot of space to store things (like me). I'll be making them in 2 liter, 4 liter and 8 liter sizes.
Two days until the start of November. That means it's crunch time for holiday market production. Along with a handful of orders for some great local stores (Nectar Juicery, Good Omen, and Neighborhood Quality Goods) I am cramming to get as many mugs, bowls, and maybe some clocks and lights made for the annual LIDO holiday market Dec. 4th.
Heres a few images of some things in the works.
See ya soon!
