Co-leidoscopes Pottery Class PASS

Co-leidoscopes Pottery Class PASS
Buy a free pass for one of the lovely young adults in the Co-leidoscopes program!
I have started offering classes to a great group at Co-leidoscopes—a program developed for young adults with intellectual and other disabilities. This program supports them through life’s transitions with inclusive programming like art, life skills, field trips, sports, and other events. They also run a great little community shop called “Co-mmunity Shop” that sells coffee and donuts, as well as great hand made gifts and other fun things. Located at 2121 E Broadway.
I wanted to support this community by offering pottery classes to them. In the past I was able to volunteer all of my time (teaching and processing time) but for the time being I am trying to cover the cost of materials and some of the processing time (when I glaze and fire the work for everyone). If this is something you feel compelled to support you are invited to purchase a Pottery Pass so that these great creative minds can come to classes without the financial barrier. The cost of one class for 12 students is $350-$400 so one pass covers the cost of approximately 1.5 students. (sometime there are more students, sometimes less).
$40 pays for their materials—as much clay as they want in one class, glaze, 2 firings, and their support person. A typical class runs for 1.5-2 hours and includes 12 students.
THANKS!
