Do you remember “teeny tiny super guy” from Sesame Street? I made these cups and when they came out of the kiln I thought, “this reminds me of something”. Then it came to me! I think sesame street has been ever formative in my art. Can you tell? 

Each cup is painted with multiple layers of coloured slip them carved to reveal little peoples silhouettes. Once dry I draw each teeny tiny person with underglaze as I see fit. Tada!
