Teen Pottery!

These hand-building/wheel throwing classes are a playful and inspiring place to begin (or continue) your experience with clay! Students will get to watch demos by me but still have the flexibility to make what they choose. There are lots of great glazes and I will teach them interesting surface decoration techniques too! (7 students per class).

These classes are full of fun and creative possibilities. Most art classes tell your kids what to make, here they get to be their own boss! I demonstrate a variety of hand-building techniques so that your kids will know how to plan and execute their projects with confidence. I also let them try to figure out things for themselves so that they learn great problem solving skills. They will come home with pride in the cool things they’ve created.
